Tokyo Day 5 (23 March 2015, Monday)

Spent the entire day at Tokyo DisneySea on the second last day of our trip! Chris & his wife left the apartment earlier cuz they're early birds. They tried waking us up but us being us just went back to sleep and told them to go ahead. Hahaha. Min & I finally got up a few hours later and arrived at DisneySea around 12noon? Didn't have time to grab lunch as we were too excited so we just bought random food in DisneySea to fill our stomachs.

We chose DisneySea instead of Disneyland cuz I googled and most people were saying how Disneyland was more for kids. Moreover, I've already been to the Disneyland in Hong Kong and wanted to try something relatively new. Turns out, DisneySea was a slight disappointment. The entire structure of it was breathtaking, of course. It was a wonderful experience on a whole but the disappointment was due to the crazy queues and kiddy rides.

We went on a Monday so we expected it to be less crowded but it was crazy! Every single ride had a queue that took about 2 hours?! We didn't have the patience to queue for most of the rides so we only took 3 rides in the end. Gave everything else a miss. Plus the 3 rides that we took were supposedly the scariest ones... but they were not scary at all. In my opinion both Disneyland and DisneySea are more for kids. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves :) Not a place I would re-visit but definitely worth the experience!

One of the rides we queued for

Probably the best ride in DisneySea - it had a mini 360 degrees turn so it wasn't too bad. I think it's called "Raging Spirits".

We didn't bother going down, it's a floor for the younger kids.

We bought little green men mochis!

You can buy it with or without the lunch box. I obviously wanted the lunch box hehe. The mochi set comes in 3 different flavours - vanilla, chocolate & strawberry.

Then at this point it started to freeze. We were so cold we could barely walk or feel our faces.

Seeked shelter and had our dinner!
