Everything is theoretically impossible, until it is done.

The Singapore Science Centre invited me down to check out 2 of their new exhibitions, the Human Body Experience and Interplay. Brought my family along with me since my Cymon loves science and my dad's back in Singapore. Yay to family day! Clemon didn't join us though, he was being a lazy bum so he slept in. Tsk.

We had so much fun at the science centre! I especially loved the human body experience because we had to climb up its tongue, slide down its throat and walk through the entire body learning about what each body function actually does. Everything was made as realistically as possible, especially the pharynx - the area where fish bones tend to get stuck if you accidentally swallow them - which were literally 2 red inflated tubes and we had to squeeze through it as if we were food. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Interplay was mostly tech stuff and I think my parents enjoyed themselves more there because it was more engaging and less kiddy. Plus my dad is such a tech geek. Hahaha. We took pictures of our shadows, played a 4D virtual shooting game, digital spray cans, light sensors on sand and a 2 view life sized projection room which taught us about the galaxy. I was blown away the moment I put on the 3D glasses and actually "saw" Earth from outer space.

Pictures shall aid you in the visualisation of my ramblings ^-^

We were utterly amazed by this. It's just sand with a motion light projection of sea creatures and the creatures move according to the depth and height of the sand. Which means if you push the sand higher it becomes "land" and the land creatures will move there while the lower portion of the sand becomes "water" and the fishes swim there.
